Visit the ancient world

There is a widely repeated legend in Georgia that when god was divvying the world up to distribute among his subjects, he kept a tiny sliver of the most beautiful, abundant and fertile land behind for himself.

At the end of the day, after the rest of the world had been claimed, a man stumbled in profusely apologizing. He’d stayed up too late singing, dancing and drinking wine and was just waking up.

The latecomer offered god a taste of his wine as penance for his tardiness. As the legend goes, god was so moved by the gorgeous amber nectar that he offered this man the part of the world that he’d saved for himself: Georgia.

THE LEGEND OF GEORGIA

To this day, Georgia is celebrated as one of the most beautiful places on earth. With ancient mountain villages so remote they’re only reachable 4 months a year, bustling contemporary cities and seaside resorts, there is something for everyone in this tiny country.

The birthplace of wine and the central Silk Road hub, you will eat fresh, beautiful food and drink wine made in the same way it’s been made for 8000 years.

We’ll take you to the ottoman sulfur baths of Tbilisi, to ride horses on a mountain ridge and to learn how to make soup dumplings from a grandmother so sweet you’ll wish she was yours.

You may not have heard much about Georgia, but we promise you’ll never forget it.
