Who we are

We’re Tamuna Bidzinashvili, an internationally celebrated winemaker from Tbilisi working in Kakheti and Kartli, and Roni Ginach, an LA based wine importer. Tamuna’s wines are represented throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas and have been featured on some of the world’s best restaurants’ wine lists from Noma in Copenhagen, to Pujol in Mexico City and Septime in Paris.

Since 2018, Roni has been the foremost importer of Georgian natural wine to the US, importing Tamuna’s wine along with the wines of many others in the community. As Georgian wines become more prominent in the market, the interest in visiting Georgia has been burgeoning.

We’ve traveled around the beautiful country extensively together and can’t wait to take you along with us, going on adventures from Samegrelo to deep in the mountains of Tusheti.

We’ve danced all night in Tbilisi and stayed up too late with mountain families listening to traditional songs in dialect and drinking cha cha (don’t ask what it is, you’ll find out). We’ve visited pagan ruins and many, many orthodox churches. We’ve been to wineries from Kakheti to Guria and everywhere in between and had at least 1000 khachapouris together.

Tamuna and Roni both love the country of Georgia deeply and will bring you everywhere from remote villages that only locals know about to the most celebrated restaurants in Tbilisi and Kutaisi.

Let us show you the version of Georgia that we love so much…

About our tours

Our signature tour is a 12 day trip starting in Tbilisi with a trip to the famous sulphur baths for which the city is named, tours of the old town, a guided tour of the National Museum by one of the country’s leading archaeologist and meals at some of the city’s best restaurants.

We’ll continue to Kakheti where we’ll visit wineries and participate in traditional Georgian Supra (the ancient ritual of a very big gorgeous feast with a series of toasts lead by a Tamada or toast master). We’ll visit the beautiful city of Signaghi and ride horses in the Caucuses.

From there we continue through to Kazbegi, Kartli and Imereti, visiting some of the country’s most celebrated wineries, ancient churches and pre-christian holy sites. We’ll go on beautiful walks in the mountains, have a cooking lesson to learn some cuisine specific to Imereti and visit one of Georgia’s largest Green markets.

While we have our own agenda for what we’d love to show you, if you’d like to put your own group together we can cater the itinerary to your interests.
